A property broker just called me today about this project in Vikhroli. Told me of all the configurations and their prices, and possession date.
Upon my asking, revealed that it is a slum-rehab project.
Then without my asking he says “its not a high-density project, Sir”.
So I asked for the plot area. He says 2.5 acre plot, 1 acre for slum-dwellers, 1.5 acres for the project. And just 230-240 flats in the project.

I decided to check on MahaRERA web site (a truly extra-ordinary feat of the Maharashtra govt)
Turns out the total plot area is 1.19 acres of which project land is less than 0.8 acre – Density of 365 souls per acre.
Not dense at all 🙂

RERA can’t stop people from lying to our faces, but it does empower us to fact-check claims! A choice has been given, the onus lies on us!
